Just wondering if the Slinger will work with Armulator Rom102 & eeprom files?

All you need is a married BIN. ROM102 or 103.

When you get a slinger, from Mill. Is there anything else to buy. To get it up and running?. Right now I'm useing Romcode. With a rom 102, and 301-010 IRD..:D

no. it comes with all you need provided you have an internet connection and don't mind connecting to the servers in China for your keys.

If you are going to setup a private setup, you need a subbed ROM240 card and likely a better server program as I read the private setup software is a bit buggy and limited ATM.

You'll need a power supply also if you purchase from Mili

Thank's for the info. Will the slinger do more than one card? I haven't seen anything about that. I suppose that it would! :D

Your question has no meaning. Slingers don't "do" cards they replace cards in receivers. You need one Slinger per receiver.

All these slingers are is a greatly enhanced version of an AVR... A man in the middle attack.

if you have hardware to share cards among receivers then one slinger will work for multiple boxes. Also, if you have such hardware please - let me know :)

So if I have a subbed bell recently fitted with the new card I could pull that card and replace it with the Slinger, is that correct?

yes.

You could also put the card in the slinger, then give people the server address (IP) and make them pay for your programming, which you are now sharing, to their slingers, which don't have any ROM240 card.

Or you could hold faith in the public slinger server never going down, and cancel bell completely, sell or save card for a hopeful tier hack..

Make sure you read the instructions. You MUST have a married ROM102 or 103 BIN for your receive that you will have to load on the Slingers to negotiate the session key.

So, you could use a slinger to share your own sub with others? No need to use slinger server?

From what I understand after reading everything, you need a married bin with the public #s, also flash the tsop with the public #s. I think the instructions said to write the bin to the slinger, or do you stick your card in the slinger?, and should there be a blocker on the bin or not?
What I think we need is a clearer set of instructions, and that would avoid all these questions. I already ordered a slinger, so hopefully I will not have any problems.

Please guys read the instructions they exist
http://www.bellexpress.vu/Slinger.html
If you want to use their public IKS channel read http://www.bellexpress.vu/clientinstructions.pdf
You will see you load your married BIN to the Slinger, configure your network and off you go.

You mean the interface card? If that is what you mean then no. WHy should you?
Make sure you use the latest Slinger software and that your ROM102 or 103 BIN you load on the Slinger is married to your receiver.

The firmware has to start with E something. What kind of a receiver is it? You must be using Slinger program 1.08
