Hello I have a Pansat 2500. I moved last year and never set it up afte the move. Is this receiver still usable? I know I use to load bin files to it via computer and had to manually enter keys.

You have to convert it to P.U.F.F 1.0.3 and upload a Lzma bin, to be exact the 2.09 v2 bin.;)

Ok I went ahead and loaded P.U.F.F. 1.0.3 and 2.09 V2 bin. I did a blind scan, am only receiving free info channels. Everything else is blackout. I am not sure if I converted this pansat 2500a to 2700. Would this matter if I did?

Did you try them????
If the procedure for converting the 2500 to Lzma bins was right, you should have your rolling P.U.F.F. (like that, with dots betwen each letter), stop in the last F., change to ON and then channel number. Additionaly you have to go to menu and do a default key and you have to have picture now.;)

It's working this morning, maybe I didn't wait long enough for autoroll last night. Really amazing how well the Pansat 2500 has aged.
