I use both programs so that I have options when one or the other goes black. St19xl works great. I have a couple of issues when I switch over to using CEMU 1.34.
1. Startup. I have to turn off the IRD, start cemu, then turn on the IRD. If I do it any other way, I end up with all of the channels in the guide being green.
2. Guide. The guide just doesn't seem up update when running CEMU. Just a few hours into the future and the guide displays "Info Not Available" When there's no guide info, my timers stop working.
Anyone have an idea on either of these issues?
thanks.

I've had issues out of the timers not working correctly but I bought a DVR and don't really worry about that any more.
With cemu when you get green guide, remove and reinsert your card substitute. I don't have that issue with the guide on cemu or st19. Are you running an older legacy receiver like a 2800 or something? The into the future guide issue sounds more like a receiver memory issue or not downloading the guide recently deal to me.

When you get a up-date or you just staring it new
.
up-plug the IRD
.
.
tell it to quit
.
give it 2 - 3 minuets
.
1. start the program
2. plug the the IRD
.
.
It will start now, without any problems.
.
This is new

I'm using a PVR508. (Sorry I forgot to mention that before)
SmilingJack, Yes that's the procedure I have to use to get it to run at all. I get the green guide if I start the IRD before starting CEMU. But I don't get a fresh guide download.
Maybe this is a clue....
When I switched back to ST19, All of my timers were "messed up". Pressing record didn't actually record anything. Playback and pause worked fine.
I cleared NVM (Menu, 6, 3, info, left, right, tv/video), then restarted st19 and the IRD. After it performed the power up check switch, it downloaded the guide and ran fine. However, therewere recording schedules for the times that I pressed record before I cleared NVM. I just deleted those and everything's fine now.
