Someone mentioned in another thread about obtaining a rapidshare account or password...I have been trying for ages to get one but have come up empty handed...bell has capped my speed to round 30Kbs for most of the day and that is really frustrating especially when your downloading a 8 gb file...Can anyone help me out here..much appreciated.....

Get a download manager to auto download those files for you. If Bell has capped your speed, then talk to them about that. You may want to pay for better bandwith if Bell won't give it to you. With that speed limit being a premium rapidshare user will not benefit you.

They target certain sites like pirates bay etc.......i have no problem with blackcats as I download at 600 kbs from them..they even admitted they target certain sites like the pirates bay...thats why I wanted a rapidshare acount..when i download from them its always at least 300 no matter what time of day...but the free account sucks..i have to unplug my router so to fool them and can download one file at a time .Right now im downloading wall-e 8 gb and going at 40..all though im connected to 60 users...and it will decrease too as the day wears on :(

RS limits the download speed
in the mooring it is low
in the at noon is is fasted
in the late aft moon is is faster
after 8 I get full speed
I have comcast
If I download for the other servers it is full speed anyway
if I have a a RS account is is full speed anything

That's not Bell limiting you I don't think. That's the peers/seeders on the same file your on is all most likely. The file torrents download are not hosted on piratebay. Those files are on the computers of those your sharing the download with. Bell may have some way of limiting all torrent downloads perhaps, but I bet it's your peers on that file.

Watch the seeders downloading list
it will show some seeder set at 1 or 2
so they can say there are seeding 30 - 40 - 50 at a time
That not enough to be there for
I run mine wide open, and get out of there when it hits 150%

ya bell does throttle in peak hours...they also throttle third party ISPs that use their network, which is just about everyone

Is there a movie private tracker like blackcats for games??I know I get max from them...I dont get near that with other sites...and like I said and what was just confirmed about throttling.....except it doesnt apply to rapidshare.... because its not a p2p program...bell targets bittorrent u torrent etc..thats why I wanted a rapidshare account..its not a p2p client and does not get choked by bell..I

Can you get a service that's not through Bell? Be sure to tell them that's why your changing services when you cancel.
