hi top of the evening fellows i have a Samsung DVD-RW and the model number is SH-S202. fellows i have a new hard drive i just brought and i am trying to put a new windows on it but every time i put on the computer it goes to the blue windows xp screen loads up and then it tells me to press enter to start setup it tells me to press F8 to agree to the terms and conditions. after that it tells me there is no disk in the drive.any help is appreciated on this fellows can u also tell me how do i set up my DVD-RW to work with the window CD? i have 2 of these drives and they are both saying the same thing. how do i get my DVD-RW to work with this CD?

The drive should work fine with a cd, I would start by checking all your drive jumpers, CS Cable select, SL slave and MS master. On each channel you can only have 1 master and one slave drive. Sounds to me like these jumpers may be set wrong.
Birdie has it right on. Use the other channel (if empty) as most come factory jumpered as master. If you don't have docs for the drive, check the Sam. website and download them.
Also check the Bios and what it reports. In a worst case scenario some Bios' will allow you to reconfigure the boot drive (that's really hamfisted but if you must go there to reinstall Doze then do it and and get the system up). Then after you have a working computer, you can take your time to get the CD/DVD going.
