Look smilingjack, mili you guys can get mad if you want ,but I have been out here a long time. I have sold hundreds of cools-t boxes and I just cant hold my voice any longer. I have been seting here at my house for a week with a 8100. Almost every other box has got a fix but none of the cools-ts. If n--g 3 was in effect and no other box or few were operational I would understand but to do this now is wrong. Please dont ban me I just had to!

What is your point airing grievances against smilingjack and Mili????

They don't sell Coolshats. Frankly it's YOUR fault for not researching the manufacturer of your FTA box.

You should have had an "inkling" when Coolshat all but dropped support for the 4K & 5K (two of their most popular- and highest selling models) and practically forced everyone to buy an "upgraded" box. Well look at the mess you are in now.

If you are in the FTA world...the only boxes that I see with decent support are the nFusion boxes. And even then you are still at the mercy of the software bin coders...there are no "independent" coders for bins out there.

Thats the one thing I like about Atmega128s, Plastic, and emulation... there is more than one chicken laying eggs out there, so the "fixes" come quicker.

It kinda perplexed me why u brought this site into it..I dont think I have ever seen them sell coolsat.....as for support in the Fta world Zero..theres lots..pansat is one in particular..they are always super fast getting their fixes up...guess we will see with the N3 garbage hanging over our head

I’m not bitching at any body. I’m just making a statement. I know your not suppose to dog the coders. I just couldn’t help myself. Wildthang you have been here since July of 2007 have you. Seeing how you’re new I’m informing you that at one time Cools_t were one of the best FTA on the market until they lost their coders. Buy the way thanks for the insult.

I wouldn't worry too much about Coolsat support. It's going to be a moot point in a few more weeks anyway, once N3 is fully implemented.

I understand fustration, But Mili, Smiling Jack or anyone else here has nothing to do with coding coolsat files so I feel an apology to them is warranted.

Good point. Once N3 is fully implemented, ALL FTA boxes will be going down, unless a miracle happens. Personally, I hate FTA, their only in it for the $$ and the end users are only in it for the free TV, nothing else, no desire to learn anything or to share their ideas/coding with their online peers.

Call me a purist but I've been running DN/DTV OEM equipment from day 1 (ahhh, the good old H card, when they were worth $500!), I've tested emu (ST19 and CEMU, thanks Cancom, PGM and many others), plastic and Atmega (thanks Team Phoenix et al) and have learned alot along the way, always trying to help others where I could. I've burned a few fingertips while soldering, lots of cursing when the f&*king JTAG would slip at 90% but once everything came together, a little free TV. I couldn't think of a more rewarding hobby...

Concerning the nfusion boxes, it has been confirmed that the Canadian Distributor has been paid a visit yesterday, equipment was loaded up and by coincidence the Candian content server went black. Its just too big of a target. The dishnet server is still up.
