Slinger...Close but no cigar here..

Hats off to the slinger crew....Freezing is better here but not 100% picture yet.

Am I the only one with this or does the slinger crew still have a bit more work to do?

Not by my experience. My slinger consistantly freezes every 1-4 times it should fetch a control word. Sometimes it gets the word in less than a second. Sometimes it won't get it for 20 or more seconds. My internet connection is fast with low latency. It's exactly what it's been doing since I set it up. I do expect/hope that it'll get better but it isn't improved at all yet.

I got mine setup in about 20 minutes and it worked very well with little freezing. I got a 5 second freeze about every 4 or 5 minutes. Now this was late last night so maybe there wasn't alot of people bogging their servers down. IDK

I am very impressed so far. I've heard that the sw isn't working for people to set up their own private servers just yet but hopefully this will get done soon.
