I can't get the Slinger to populate the Server ID (64bytes) box on the IKS Channels page, changed the server ID in the settings file, to the new server settings, but, when you put in IKS channel 100-00113 for Dish, and the password 123456789, and click write and then read, the Server ID ( 64 bytes ) box is all zeros, the 109 Program won't copy the Server ID from the settings file. You can't use the Scan Channels Button to populate the Available Public IKS Channels box and click add, so it doesn't transfer the proper Server ID Bytes, to the Server ID box. If I could populate the Server ID box with the proper address, the Slinger would get past the solid orange light, the Server ID box is greyed out, so you can't just copy and paste the proper address. Anybody else have the same problem?

ok here is what you do........copy the following bytes
2C 83 DE 72 A4 C2 3D D6 5A 25 B7 D1 50 E3 CF 49 F9 A8 24 D1 3D 2D D8 32 EC BB C0 6F BB
C0 D1 49 EC BB C0 6F BB C0 D1 49 EC BB C0 6F BB C0 D1 49 EC BB C0 6F BB C0 D1 49 EC BB C0 6F BB
C0 D1 49
and overwrite the settings file (in your slinger directory) with these numbers instead and save the file....next time you go to slinger you going to see these bytes in the appropriate area cause slinger is reading from this file.

I tried that, changing the settings file and saving, but without filling the Available Public IKS Channels Box, using the Scan Channels Button, the Server ID ( 64 bytes ) box is all zeros, after you put the Iks Channel 100-00113 for dish, and the Password 123456789, and click write, and then read, it populates the Server ID box with all zeros, it doesn't copy the new server settings from the edited settings text file.
If you download either the 108 or 109 Slinger versions, and don't edit the settings text file, it will populate the Server ID box, with the old server address, when you write the IKS Configuration, but if you change the old server settings, to the new ones, and then save it, then write the IKS Configuration, the Server ID box will be all zeros, it doesn't read the new edited settings file correctly, putting all zeros in, instead of putting the new proper server address in the Server ID box.

if i were you i will delete all kinds of slinger software i have on my computer and then redownload the new software 1.09 (this is the only one you need) go to slinger directory and change the settings file with the right bytes i quoted in previous post...... save file and then run slinger for the frirst time.....it should have the proper server ID
