Once again, not my work, I borrowed it with permission from
Code:
www.wiihacks.com
One problem with most burners is the ability to read ISO's with these WII games, software like powerISO gives errors. I say stick with freeware. If it works use it.
For this software we are going to be using IMGburn. Search for it it is freeware and everywhere

/////////////////////////////////////////
When you install that software open it.
From there you notice it is somewhat simple.
Please excuse my use of Paint, I dont have Photoshop on this computer.
/////////////////////////////////////////
1. Click on number one where the arrow is pointing to in the image to browse for your ISO file. Try to use .ISO files to avoid confusion.
2. Make sure your destination is set at your dvd Burner.
3. Change your write speeds to 2X, or 1X, the slower the better.
/////////////////////////////////////////
Make sure that you are using DVD-R's for best results.
4. Click Burn which is this unhighlighted field currently, (because I have a burned disc in my drive)
it will take approximately 15 minutes on 2x
Its Done!

I have sytem 3.2U, Backup Launcher Gamma.3.
I burnt Pes 2009 already patched using imgburn at x2 speeed. After trying to load it says that the disc is unreadable.
What could be wrong?

well it could of been a bad write, the iso could of been corrupt. when burning the iso image to disk, try not to do anything else on compuer while it is burning, you will see the buffers drop to zero if you try to do other stuff.

Install IOS16, IOS249, IOS36rev10, and USB loader 1.5. see if that works better. probably need wbfs 2.5 for your comp too. wiinewz dot com

Here is a question: Do you have to mod your WII to play burnt games? I just bought a WII for my daughters and my wife would have a cow if I told her that I was gonna take it apart to Mod it....lol

for simplicity, yes. you do. you don't break a single seal opening it - but you do need a tri-wing screwdriver which I have never seen come with anything but security bit sets. The modchips are plug and play. you'd have to be a complete clutz to fuck up installing one. search around for flatmod, wasabiDX or drivekey.
If you don't have one of the new consoles that has BOOT1 removed, and you havn't upgraded to 4.0, you may be able to do the twilight princess hack and downgrade the wii then do what I said above to load from USB drive, or use the softmii package to install a disc loader.
Before ordering any chips, Id wait until friday and see what the softmii team has came out with - as they appearently have been able to 'conquer' the Boot1/non-D2x/IOS249 patched consoles.

I don't know what Ruciz is talking about. I have NEVER opened my Wii and I installed the Twilight Hack over a year ago. I have about 30 games that are "backed up" that play fine using the HomeBrew Channel (maybe ocassional hiccup...but my kids treat the CD-R/DVD-Rs like shit).
If I ever don't want the hack on the Wii any more, I can just remove it. No permenant mod involved. No opening of the case, No special screwdrivers, just the Twilight Game. Your Wii does have to be at a relatively early revision and if you JUST purchased it, then it most likely is already at 4.0 and un-modable (at this point). If it is a new purchase, then I don't even think the ModChips will work for you (yet).
Google the terms "Wii" and "Homebrew channel" and you will get the support website and LOTS of helpful info.

Well, the question was, "I just bought a WII for my daughters and my wife" so I assume new.. which is why I said for simplicity yes, cause if you take it apart it will work 100%.
New wiis have no controller so soldered chips won't work, and nintendo changed some software so softmods don't work.... I know what I am talking about, maybe you should read up a bit more on whats happening before shooting your mouth off like you are head of nintendo.
Go out to walmart and pickup a wii. Everything will go fine until you try to install IOS249. Then nothing happens... nothing loads, no USB loader, no Gamma loader, no wiigator, no softmii.. nothing.
This is why yes, you have to take it apart, and yes you have to use a flatmod/drivekey, unless you have a wii older than LU64x which is what all stock in NA currently is...
I am learning to download wii games. I also care about how to burn cheap wii games. Playing wii games is so interesting.
