"should" work Steve341, I'm about 600miles north of you and I get 30's to 50's with a 39" dish. Transponder 21 is strongest for me so look for that one.

This really knocks me out, and I"d ask how are the Lakers (talking fish) but the rule of thumb is the larger the better. Have a friend in the NWT and his antenna looks like it's pointing at the ground...........talking very low on the horizon.

if i'm not mistaken ciel2 is the replacement for sat 129 providing a much more stable signal than the old sat.....i saw like a 30% increase in signal when it kicked in.....lots of dnhidef on that one and a whack of spotbeaming to boot so even with a "hubble dish" there's very likely a whack of transponders you won't get....as for the conus signals go hard with size.....33 should be ok as you're likely not to be on the fringe of any spotbeams.....rg6a...ya i've seen that way up north...very wierd to see until you realize that the sats are like 23 degrees above where it looks like the dish is looking.....always found it odd that the dn sats are by and large higher elevation than the bev sats.....must be to service alaska maybe......lol
don't know if this applies to your location but for shits and giggles, i'll add to be very accurate with your mast plumb......where i am the elevation for 129 and 119 are very very close......with my mast just a tad off plumb "sideways'' and a 33" pan with a single legacy lnb, it would pick up transponders from both sats......big PIA aiming and indeed scanning.....that last one is fta talk but whatever.....lol
