New Card Warning on Atmega accessed RCVR

Forgive me if this has been discussed or answered elsewhere. I did a search and found nothing.

I do not currently test D**H; I have tested D**E and D**H and F*A.

I have a friend who is using Atme*a and who has done so for years. He tells me that on the Discovery channel (I think) he has been getting a message that a new card will be needed on May 26, 2009. I do not know what Atme*a solution he uses.

Has anyone else gotten this or similar message on Atme*a or other testing solutions?

Everyone is getting it. Get a Slinger and you will be set. There is no need to use ***** on this site.

If the card has an ATR of a 241 cam you won't get nags... So if you flash the atmega to spoof a ROM241 you will not get nags, when its gone N3 you will just have a black screen.

Keep in mind doing this you will never be able to revert to a ROM102 cam in your iRD as it will be 'too old' The firmware is getting smarter, and knows that a 102 is older than a 241 and will not work with it.

I cant seam to keep the slinger running it works for 5 mins then freezes for 1 min then it works for 15 mins then freezes again then it locks up....does anyone have any ideas what the hell i am doing wrong

To get rid of the nag you can jtag back to older firware or use the 241 spoof. Or you can try this which also works.You can flash your receiver back to older firmware. You don't have to go back too far, just a couple updates back should do it or you can try this. This is copied and pasted from another site. the above post works on a single tuner but how do i get rid of that nag by hitting guide cancel on a 322 dual tuner, i followed the same steps as stated but on the 322 never worked, still said to install a new card. any ideas?

I'm going to have to agree with you on that one. We were a quiet little group of geeks watching our free TV in relative peace until FTA's for hacking came along. The camaraderie went right out the window when mass marketing of FTA for pirating became the norm. The plug and play option got way too popular way too fast. Charlie had to do something. This will piss a lot of folks off, but I hope the end result of N3 swap is to force FTA's back to the true FTA market and let us guys get back to our "true" hacking....even though I will admit I never did much actual hacking myself. Even at my level I rely on folks more knowledgeable than me to relay the information needed to get the job done.:cool:

so any way that same way with the single tuners. works for the 322 dual tuners. the above post by edsport. any ideas on the 322 dual tuner to get rid of the nag.
