I have an nFusion HD. Very nice receiver (especially for the HD!). For DN, you get HD from 110, 119, 129, & 68.5. For BEV, you get HD channels from 82 only (which is a problem if you live in the Southern USA, because the 82 footprint only covers about 1/2 of the USA currently).

A constant connection to the internet is REQUIRED, there is currently no standalone BIN for the nFusion HD.

Mili does not support FTA receivers (because he does not sell or recommend them).

The nFusion is VERY simple to setup. I did not have to look at the manual or even go to a forum to set it up. If you have had NO EXPERIENCE with an FTA receiver before, you will need to browse a forum and check out how to set up the menus for your particular antenna setup and such.

Is the nfusion capable of getting the N3 stream? I mean do and will you get all the channels when they all go N3? If so I might buy one but if they will become a paper weight I will wait

nfusion needs a software bin to be loaded on the unit and needs a constant internet connection to receive programming. BEV N3 is up with many channels but no internationals. no PPV and only two porn channels. DN N3 currently isn't supported. Apparently the coders are waiting for N2 to be completely dead before N3 support. Should see N3 up an runnng in the next week or two. Probably won't see any porn or PPV on DN either. Good unit and dreadfully easy to use.

I think everyone here is aware of the Slinger.

This forum is for FTA questions and he specifically asked about the nFusion HD.

Currently the nFusion HD MUST be connected to the internet to work (exactly like the Slinger). They are both receiving Control Words from their respective servers.

I am told by coders involved with the FTA community that the reason that nFusion is not "up" on DN N3 is that their server can only serve one version of the stream at a time. If they want to have the PPV channels open, they must leave it on the N2 stream until the PPV channels go to N3. Once this occurs, you will see nFusion HD come up on N3.

Once the N3 stream is fully implemented, you won't see PPV movie channels up on either the Slinger nor the nFusion HD (nor any other STB).

I have a Nfusion HD. Its not too bad.

Would be nice if it had more fta functions like a blind search. The others are minor complaints. It works. I get some dish N3 channels and most of the N2 channels. Some annoyances are with channels HD n3 where I get picture and no sound on a few.

So they are not problem free.
