Slinger tiers

Help !!

What am I doing wrong?:confused:
According to Mili's channel list for Dish, he lists about 200 channels, with more being added soon.

My problem is I'm only getting maybe 6 open channels -- All the rest are blacked out.

What dump should I be using to program the Slinger?
I am using the dump that is married to my receiver, so that I'm using numbers that were working with Team legends units.

Give a guy a little help please!!!

Make sure your receiver firmware is up to date, your LNB is properly detected and you run the latest Slinger software.

Thanks Mili for the comeback answer.
But yes, the firmware is the latest. I have been using it everyday with the rom 102 yellow card.
The LNB has been working fine for over two years.

The problem is that I have apparently wiped off all of the tiers from the yellow card before I saved that (eeprom) image to load into the slinger.

But if I try to use the Dish Dump that comes with the slinger, when I get to the "BIN EDITOR" it won't work because the boxkeys & ird & cam numbers don't match my receiver. Therefore they then are not marrried. When I try uising the "PATCH" command in the slinger program ("BIN EDITOR") to use all my aforementioned numbers to marry the slinger to the receiver, the patch command doesn't work. After I "WRITE" & then "READ" the information, it has returned to the original information that is in the Dish Dump in the slinger program.

If the Programmers would repair the slinger program so that our private numbers could be "PATCHED" to our own "BIN", that would resolve these kinds of problems!

What flashes for the card & receiver is everybody else using? That's what I need to know! They are obviously getting t.v. and I 'm not yet!!

Your bin needs to be clean, no tiers no blockers. The tiers are on the slinger server &
you can't add tiers to the bin. All the bin does is communicate with the receiver & boots it.
Yes your bin needs the box keys, ird # that matches your reciever.
Most people are useing the public bin/tsops, not all but most.
Some that have private bins have problems with the slinger even though the bin works with
plastic, armulator etc jfyi. I don't have the asnwer.

Okay for all of you havening problems with there private ROM 102 EEPROM or ROM 103 EEPROM for that matter but I’ve not test it with 103EEPROM But it should work …..If you getting black screen no video or sound that’s not slinger what causing that....its your 102 EEPROM try this....because I know it works I've test it with 2 slingers in 2 different IRD’s(I've 510 working with this way)

The programs you need to get started alongside your ROM 102 card EEPROM file that is married to your receiver. And Dish Public Clean ROM102 at rev 103.bn102 that’s located in IKSlingerVersion1.08\Dumps directory...

Let gets stated some of you may know this but for folks don’t know we going to transfer all private 102bin info to Dish Public Clean ROM102 at rev 103.bn102 that you got from IKSlingerVersion1.08\Dumps folder.

1) Open GetCamInfo ll and open your private 102bin EEPROM.
2) Open GetCamInfo ll again and open the Dish Public Clean ROM102 at rev 103 lets call it (Dish Public)
3) Now open Rom Explorer Alpha3a and open dish public bin from Dumps folder.
4) In Rom Explorer select replace from you edit drop down menu. Tine window will open.
5) Now look at the option 2 remember GetCamInfo where you open Dish public bin Copy the camid and paste it into RomExplorer
6) Copy the camid from your private102bin image and paste it into "replace with" in romexplorer and hit Replace All button.
7) Do the same find and replace in RomExplorer with your Ird, ird B. Box keys and your dt06 and dt08.
8) Ones you done with that in RomExplorer save this bin with name like Slinger bin or whatever you like to call it …..
9) now open you private bin IN GetCamInfo ll and Slinger bin and verify all the info should match … now load this bin Slinger bin to slinger ….

This info will help those who’ve resolve there networking problem and get green led on slinger but no video or sound so discuses your private bin matter here thanks….

But already, I'm not familiar with the progy, "Get Cam Info 11"-- Also, not sure that I have the Rom Explorer Alpha 3. I do, however have Romexplorer.

Can I get these from the File Download section?

If so, then I think I can follow your instructions.

Followed the instructions in post above. -- Still no luck!

I feel certain now that there is something wrong with my DT 06 & DT 08 files.

Where can I get a matching set of flashes for the slinger & my 301-010 EAED receivers. Public numbers or private?

Mine apparently are not matching up somehow. I can verify that the CAM, IRD, & BOXKEYS all match. I have the knowhow to do all of that anyway. But I don't know much about the DT file numbers, and too late to learn. I've tried in the past, and couldn't master them.

Anybody want to help??

Where can I find the public tsops and bins with the latest P-396 firmware for the EAEA build for 301-010 receiver?

The ones you are talking about. I can't find them in the files download section here on Mili's site. At least not the latest firmware

I am 75, and must be getting too old for this game, because I did a thorough search, and missed the file.

Now that I found the right t-sops for my receivers, can I use the Dish Dump in the Slinger downloaded software? And what mods would be needed, besides the IRD & boxkeys numbers to that Dish Dump?

Yes use the bin from the dumps folder, load bin, write bin in bin editor, no other mods needed..
the bin in the dumps folder has the correct ird# & box keys for the public tsop.

I'm watching t.v. tonight with your help.

I reflashed my receiver with the files from the download site, programmed my Slinger with the Dish Dump from the Slinger files, saw that everything matched, and away we went!!!

Didn't have to redo anything in Flashedit. Everything matched!

I had tried to make things match with my own T-sops, and other t-sops with earlier Rev's. Nothing was working, until your help came along.
