It's always been unencrypted. So, I would say yes.

It still works with avr-x and fortecstar 5900.

Half the time, staring at those unmanned workstations and no audio..............very relaxing.;-)

Yes, they do seem to believe in "silent movies". But the launches, spacewalks and landings are worth watching. I used to have an old C-band dish for that, but it's long rusted away.
