Will this set-up work ? (looking for advise)

I'm very interested in getting a slinger , however i'm trying to determine if my current internet connection will work w/o having to purchase additional equipment.
my set-up is as follows:
Westtell DSL modem connected to a 2WIRE (brand name) Home Portal, model 100w . I have 4 PC's Set-up as a home network via LAN and is wired. However the hardware (2WIRE) also has built in wireless which is how i connect my lap top to the net.
Wireless connection can only accessed by the use of a WEP key.
So my Question is can i use the slinger via the wireless connection in the 2WIRE home portal w/o getting additional hardware (ie. router). If so, where does the WEP key go with-in the slinger software in order to achieve a connection?

No the slingers are wired only. I strongly recommend you NOT to use a wireless bridge with them. I will make a post about it and make it a sticky now look for it.

Plug a 5 port switch into the 2wire then plug the slinger into the switch, switches are cheep and don't cause conflicts. An Aditional router will cause baldheadness lol.

there u go, simple is usually best. then u could plug whatever router into the switch. it ain't rocket science,,,,,,,oh, wait, maybe it is
