Not sure if anyone has one. I just picked up one the otherday, an exsub. Anyone interested in probing the bga or have any info on one. There has to be a better way than desoldering and putting a new one. How about cutting a trace and inputting and eeprom with the clock from the receiver, I'm just brainstorming. Now if you have a bga kit than more power to ya. Just looking for other methods and helping the community.

The 206 is useless. Never was a viable method of getting into them. Best not to go cutting and whacking on the motherboard IMHO.

I'd leave the box alone right now. The intricacies involved with tinkering with these types of IRD's are best left to those with the training and tools to do so.

However, the 622 can be modded for use with the Slinger.

Then a Slinger is needed:

And reading is also very important:

Yeah, i got everything ready to go for my non vip receivers. I'm just waiting for it in the mail.

Looks like my fta stbs are gonna be down for a while. I have 2 viewsats...

I've been getting back into all the glitching, plastic, atmega stuff every since fta bins have been down.

Thanks

So you jump from the pot into the fire? Since atmegas and plastic are also down you are learning another defunct system?
Since the owner of Viewsat is in jail it is safe to say support for them will be lacking.

Well, at least i can get back into something.

FTA devs know thier systems. There is no support for user coding in fta. Unless coding is leaked.

Lets hope n3 isnt like what dave and nds came up with cause i used to be in the h/hu stuff then that went down. I was young and uneducated. So I took a break.
I put ... after viewsat cause, I figured they were gonna be bricks after what happened with mr viewsat.

I'm slowly getting back into this so I have to catch up with the community.

I was never a big fan of fta cause I knew they were making big bucks and relying on 1 or a few coders. It goes to show they got it in the end.

So back to poking at a 241...
