satellite signal problems

I purchased the 622 reciever, and i'm having a problem recieving satellite signal. I have another reciever that i have fine signal strength. The power button won't shut off the 622 reciever. is that normal.

I don't have one but that's a great HD unit, are you running the standard round 18" single lnb dish?

Try going into the menu and see what birds are selected, it could be something as simple as that. Anyways someone here will be able to solve your problem. If it's DOA, Mili will look after you.

yep.
gonna have to go into the set up menu and get the 622 to scan for availible sats and do a check switch so it will know what switch is installed on the LNBF
