VIP622 firmware update ?

I got a VIP622 which was modded by Mili and I'm just getting ready to use it with the slinger. The Firmware is currently at L618 and it needs to be L621. I have the receiver plugged in and powered off for about 24 hours but it still has not received the firmware update. Is there anything I can do to force an update to the VIP622? If there is nothing I can do and I just have to wait how long does the update usually take to be applied from people's past experience? Also since the receive currently does not have a card in it, it currently says Smart Card Invalid and the smart card is not authorized for this receiver. Is this ok and will the firmware be updated in this situation?

Have you programmed the Slinger, setup the router and then started the IRD yet?

Yes the slinger is setup and ready to go.

They stopped streaming L621 because there were so many issues with it. Very few boxes got this update.
