google "homebrew channel for wii"....you'll need an sd card and a card writer to get it on....there are quite a few hacks now, but the one I'm using requires a game save from Zelda, which homebrew uses to "glitch" into the system. Version of current firmware is critical, any system updates will erase the homebrew channel once installled. My buddy uses a usb drive to supply WII roms, versus making backups of discs...I'm not that far yet but he loves it.
