I want to buy a modded VIP722... questions

I've done FTA for a long time but am a first timer to this slinger stuff. Is there a monthly or yearly subscription to getting this up and running? After i buy a modded VIP 722 what else would I need to do? I already have a 1000.2 up on the roof hitting 129,119,110, so i don't need to put up a dish and I have a very fast internet connection.

OK. So what is this ROM CODE DishTV subscription all about? That confuses me.... I really want to pull the trigger on this thing

Romcode is if you get a Dreambox500s from my store. It is s subscription to their IKS service. No HD and somewhat limited channels compared to the Slingers.
