I've kicked this problem around through several threads without getting resolved, so I'll try it again. Finally got my slinger working on my 2700(although with much freezing), but nogo with a 622 I had modded. My signal strength on 2700 is fine for both 110 and 119 using a dish500 with DP+ lnb. Checkswitch test certifies reception; it has the builtin switch. When I hookup my 622, however, checkswitch shows no reception on any of three sats; signal meter shows 110 in 70s, 119 states wrong sat-110. My screen shows error message-sat signal lost- then goes to "internal communication error". So I would guess that this means either something is wrong with the receiver itself or something with the switch? Is there something that I missed hooking the622 up?
