Hi good evening fellows top of the evening to all i have 2 simple situation i need help on. Io have 3 rings of death and my xbox is over heating like crazy. Please fellows i will like to know what to do t get rid of this error. You guys are the best when it comes to xbox. Please fellows what do i need to do.

the bga array under your GPU has lost a connection. You need to either reflow your Board near the GPU or Microsoft will fix it for 99.00 and give you a warranty on their work.

Alternativelty goto youtube and you will find a bunch of home remedies that may work for you.

I've gone thru 2 of them. I've bit the bullett and paid the money. I did look at what it took to fix the problem, but lots of time. One I just got a month ago, runs cooler than any I have had, it is a new one. Just bought the pain on and moved my HD over.

Best thing to do is go to walmart, Purchase a new one, Swap HD's, Return the old one in the new box for cash back. ;)

Now that is sneaky but Wal*Mart doesn't pay any suppliers until the unit is sold and do it on a weekly basis. Returns are 'returned' and who woulda' thunk of that? ;-)

If anyone really wants to be a return Pro, open the box up from the bottom. The Dollar stores sell the wide clear packing tape. ;-) ;-)

most places also add the serial number to the receipt...they may check it when you try to return it, before buying anything call xbox first, if its unmodded it may get covered on their 3 year rrod warranty...s/h is all....
