I suspect it's an eeprom issue. Go to Mili's TSOP bank and find an eeprom .bin (virgin, if you find one) that matches your build config. Then reflash the eeprom only.
FYI, P186 is pretty old. If you don't upgrade, you may be missing channels.
...don't forget to unlock your eeprom when reflashing!
