has anyone hacked these recievers ?
i've done a fair amount of searching on the net and can't really come up with anything. anyone have any urls that might point me in the right direction ?

given that the recievers can be picked up for 40 or 50 dollars at times on ebay ,a person could fry a few of them and still be cheaper than a bel reciever .
an added advantage would be , that once a starchoice reciever is hacked , you wouldn't get the same level of intensity of ecm's as you would from bel or dish ( well not until you had tens of thousands of hacked recievers out the anyway .)

do any other companies in the world use simalar recivers to starchoice .

and if there's enough interest in the starchoice recievers , would the deserve their own forum ?
just a few thoughts anyway .

ID forums (http://id-discussions.com/)

They are made by GI / Motorola for Starchoice, and are virtually identical to the 905 "sidecar" DCII receivers for C-band.
