sounds like the card may be corrupt if you do get some channels, the dsw0600 issue, when writing a hex from actworkshop, would prevent any channels from comming in,

A good cleaning or unlooping will fix the card, dsw0600 missing will cause nothing but "please stand by".......

Mumaluke, DSW (Dynamic Status Word) is a stream command used in the card/receiver authentication/verification process. Up until a couple of months ago, that update was present in the datastream, and it took only a matter of seconds to receive it.
DTV has removed it...and if it's absent from your EEPROM, that's what you're gonna see.."Please Stand By"....across the board.
Applying an Activation-Workshop created script removes this update...resets it to zero. You've got to add back a DSW 0006 update hex...AFTER you apply the activation script itself.
