Cool...and I'm not even stoned yet. I used to live in Potland suburbs...oops, I meant Portland. Both my uncles that live there have cards. Said they finally busted the doc that gave 70% of the states medical cards though. When we were salmon fishing last fall the game warden tried to bust us for having a couple ounces on us...he had to give the smoke back AND let us keep our fish. He was not happy about it either. Hope nobody thinks less of me now.

If you ever get a chance to fish the Umpqua river near Reedsport, Oregon, when the salmon are running, you won't regret it. We were catching them on a stainless steel hook with a red plastic scented egg. Not very technical, but that's all it takes when the fish come in fresh from the ocean. It is hands down the best salmon fishing in the lower 48. ...and the warden was even less impressed when both my uncles rolled one and smoked it right in front of him after he gave the bags back....

Never salmon fished in my life, but caught plenty of rainbow trout up north of Boulder, Colorado...using stainless steel hooks and SALMON eggs. As you say, not technical...a REAL trout fisherman fly-fishes...I'm too damn lazy for that, so salmon eggs, it is. Besides, it's a lot more fun when you catch fish...and, brother, did we ever catch 'em.....

That Umpqua river deal sounds pretty inviting...when are we going, guys ???

I know, I've seen that 350 pounder you caught....shit, I'll stick to the steelheads, since I can't see having to use a Warn winch to reel my fish in... :p
