1000 ird aquiring signal problem after update

I have my 1000 ird running with chinaman emulation v3. The receiver has been out of the stream for about 2 years. I had it working with the old software on it but it kept nagging everytime I changed channel. So, I took the latest update and now I am stuck on "aquiring signal". That's all it does.
any help would greatly be appreciated

In the system setup do a Switch Check. This is now required even if your setup only points at one bird.

The 1000 menu system is different than any other receiver. So I can't tell you exactly how to get to it but your looking for the installation section. If I remember correctly the 1000 has a seperate selection labeled Multi dish install (or setup).
