I visited a site(porn ) and it did the usual 25 pop-ups in 50 milliseconds.Anyhow, now whenever startup my computer it gives me a "home" and puts four new favorites in my drop-down menu. Does anyone know how to get rid of this problem b4 my wife thinks I am a bigger perv than I really am.

You can clear the History by going up to Tools and down to internet options. There you can also change your home address back to msn.com or whatever you have it.

Even when I do that. log off and then return. Gives me the new homepage and four new favorites.

Installed spy sweeper and spybot and they cannot find anything.Spy sweeper does have a homepage saver so if somebody wants to change it it will not allow it to happen. But the problem still exists.

If that ever happens again use your alt,F4 only till they go away. I got the same a few days ago. I put in zonealarm and pop up stopper. Life is good once again. Also that file came up as a Trojan virus. AVG is a good anti virus program that doesn't take over your comp like Norton

look for and try the free pop up blocker software from EMS free surfer mk II, it also locks in your home page so it can't be hijacked
