If he is talking the nozkt mod, yes, the RCA boxes are the most common to have this mod done. Some Philips are also moddable.
It is easily worth $100 to have it done, but most reasonable modders don't charge nearly that, figure about 1/2 that because of shipping charges.
Do a search for nozkt and you will find lots of info, basically what the mod accomplishes is it eliminates the need for a valid bin, which these days is a BIG deal.......
