what's wrong with jkey program

Hi guy
I am here again
The jkey program is funny
I did not hook it up to jtat or anything
no parallel, reciever power, jtag
nothing is hook in to anything
but,when i open jkey program it still a showing 0xFFFFFFFF
what is it?
please help !!!!

you want my advice? send your IRD out to someone that knows what they are doing. if you can't hook up the jtag i don't think you will get much farther with modding.

Jkeys is what everyone that mods uses, it's all there is, and it works fine....some PCs and some parallel ports don't work with the jtag, that's just a hardware issue, nothing to do with jkeys itself.

Jkeys shows 0xFFFFFFFF when started without a jtag, I just tried it, so that's normal.

If your board has a seperate power connector then there's no need to worry about powering it from the receiver, just make sure it's powered with the correct power supply and then all you need is 6 wires from the jtag to the receiver, the 5 jtag port points and a ground.
