Nothing available for the HUGHES that I am avare of, I wish there was as there are many of those out there.......
thanks for the info skinerd
You don't need to do a no zkt on that particular model. You can just apply the no 745 hex file in extreme hu and just keep the tiers updated with act workshop. I have two of those receivers and have been up since August 2003. The only problems are if you have a power outage, you have to clean the card and reapply the hex. FYI the hughes gaebo models do not seem to work with this hex, contrary to popular belief. I hope this helps.

the first Hughes that will probably get NOZKT'd will be the GAEBO
why?
its chipset is identical to the RCA430..we can easily read/write and erase the flash chip..I personally have done this to two GAEBO's
so when someone figures out the exact address to change it will be made public..i would expect such an answer within the next few months.
the older Huighes are not likley to get NOZKt'd--probably NEVER!
why?
because most (if not all) of the 3rd and 4th gen Hughes used a 42 pin OTP/plastic EPROMs..a few were socketed..but most are NOT..a hacker is going to pass on the Hughes because a 42 pin M27C800 costs a small fortune $10-20/chip and they no longer sell or make a ceramic version of this chip (I have been looing for one from ST) than can be erased under U/V..the hacker will need to probably erase and reprogram that 42 pin chip a huindred times until he finds the right addresse to modify..as you can see if he does NOT posses these rare windowed 42 pin chips he wont be able to do any beta testing of different address to isolate the NOZKT patch.
so foget about the older Hughes and only keep the GAEBO's..they are fully JTAG compatable and the hacker can play with them and erase them to his hearts content all for free.

In fact there are several cross reference chips available. Don't bother asking ST, they are the manufacturer.

They're readily available here..

I got Macronix to sent me 5 free samples and Atmel to send me 20 freebies..both are OTP..the ST chip is no longer being given out as free samples of that 42 pin eprom..i have been trying to get ST from San Jose to France to send me some with the U/Vwindow..so if I want to do some beta testing I will have to spend the $15 and buy one it seems :-(
