View Full Version : Try this for really looped cards

I've seen posts all over about cards that are looped and won't glitch and they think they are dead. They try all kinds of scripts and it won't pop. Nobody mentions if the card is actually trying to glitch (getting some type of an ATR) or if it just sits there and does nothing (00 or ff or ?? for an ATR). Does nothing is what this post is for. I use a T-911 with Winwildextreme3.xvb and have never failed to unloop a card (including 4b's). I believe most of the problematic cards are STUCK as well as being looped. If the card is stuck it won't even try and glitch. You'll get 00, FF or ?? depending on the script. If it's stuck you won't get ANY type of ATR no matter how long you let the glitch attempts go. The simple fix that I've found to unstick them is to put them back in the reciever for about 10 seconds. No need to reboot, you don't even have to turn it on. Just stick it in, wait, pull it out. That's it. I don't know what it does, but exposing them to the data stream will unstick them. I've tried just putting them into the receiver but it doesn't work unless it's hooked to the dish. I don't know what it does, or why it does it. I have unlooped cards in 30sec. that previously glitched until they timed out. This also works for cards that return ATR's of 38 38 38 38 38, 00 00 00 00 00. I can't count how many cards I've brought back from the dead this way and I've never seen a totally dead HU.

After more testing I found that this will only work with OLDER receivers. Tried it with a 420,430,431 and it did nothing. I pulled and old 303 out, plugged in the sat cable and inserted the card for 5 seconds. The card then started to glitch in Winexplorer. You must have a pre-plus receiver to unstick the cards. Please post if this worked for you.

I won't say that you are wrong, but I will add this info. Any card can be permanently physically damaged and can never be fixed. Don't forget that these cards are miniature microprocessors that are susceptible to physical damage. Although they are pretty durable, I wouldn't bend a card too much, or leave it on a really hot radiator. Some cards are just dead from physical damage by way of negligence.

Back when I was on another site we actually put out two scripts , one for older receivers and one for the newer ones , 420 , 430 and so on ...
That could be your problem here ...
As far as " unsticking " a card , well what ever works for you !
