Engineer Greg's original files are now om Zenontech.
You will need a 27C040 - 32 pin UV EPROM. PM me.

Floyd,
The guide for the 303 at Zenontech.com shows only the pix in a 303. But the technique is the same for a 102. The main difference is that you have to remove the small board over the EPROM (27C040, or 27C4001). First remove the coax SAT IN nut. There is either a small screw in the corner of the board by the POWER partition, or a plastic guide/clip there that holds the small board. Of course the big connector (J1) next to the EPROM at U151 also locates the small board, but does not have fasteners - just pull the small board straight up over the connector then back out the SAT IN connector.
Record the old EPROM number (like XX15087-270) and the board date (Like DEC 17 1993) so that you can select which NOZKT bin file (102o or 102m) is right for you.
After that, the steps are the same as the 303. Remove the EPROM, and replace with your NOZKT Eprom.
Look over the case fasteners carefully. There are more screws and coax connectors to remove in this 1st generation IRD. I remove the entire main board to clean the solder holes and install the 32-pin socket.
All in all, this IRD is a little more difficult than the 303.
