It's been widely discussed that there has been a known issue with RCA
recievers and DirecTV local service - occasionally you could not
access your local programming and the only temporary "fix" was to do a
hard reset. This was theoretically fixed on Dec 18th with a DirecTV
download patch. I have 3 RCA recievers and the download fixed two of
them - but not the one with my ReplayTV connected. I swapped one of
the known good units with the one connected to my ReplayTV, and it
exhibited the same problem - intermittently the local programming
won't come up and only a hard reset will solve the problem.

Question, was there an IRD patch sent? I got no warning that an update failed.
