Ok guys, here's the deal...my neighbour has a Globecast system, same DE-997 model as you, Nostradamus...I ordered a Magic card and programmer for him from dssangels.com for $100 CDN with programmer. Got it in about a week and programmed it for him. You may need a DB25 female to DB25 male cable since this card has bolts on the DB25 connector of the programmer and it's very difficult to push onto the DB25 port on your PC.
Downloaded the setup program from the site magiccard.tv and set it up in married sub mode since I didn't have the box keys and my nagra card was locked. Only problem I ran into was trying to place both cards into the Globecast receiver (nagra card on top of magic card)...the fit was too tight.
I can slide the magic card 3/4 of the way and then when I try to put the Globecast card on top it only goes about half way then it becomes too tight.
A friend on another site suggested using a nail file to file down the globecast card and see if that works.
Going to try and convince my neighbour

You can also run it in camless mode ROM10 if you know your receiver's box keys and receiver ID. Also, anyone know where I can get the latest GLobecast keys to try it camless?

Thanks Maddawg, I inserted these keys but I still can not see the scrambled channels. I have MRX 1000, it was working fine untill the keys were changed.
Any ideas.

Don't have a MRX 1000. This is working fine on my pansat.
