Yvous1.4 help
I have a jvc 301.013 single 4mb tsop.
Vidmod has been done. maxmel with 2312 and flashed with rev381 ird shows rev381 on info screen. problem is yvous keeps saying first byte is not 0x21 everytime time ird sends reset. anybody know what this problem is? Thanks. |

I am not sure what it is, I got it myself. I think it's the connection between the board & PC or Yvous (unless somebody say it ain't so). I've double checked the connections on mine and switch to cemu, works for 2 days now. Ain't broke so don't want to fix it yet :-).

I found the problem. I was using a long cable (about 50 feet) from the maxmel to the pc. I chopped it down to 15 feet and now it works! I forgot about the rs232 limitations at the higher baud rate.

I am running yvous at about 110". no problem. Make sure port settings are set to 115,200.

Everyone says to make the port setting 115200. Mine is at the default of 9600 and works fine.
