Different IRDs - Different PPV Nags with Yvous

I have Yvous 1.4 running on a vid-modded DP301.013 and also a 2800. Several questions / issues regarding PPV:

On the DP301, when I select a PPV channel, I get the “Dish on Demand - Do you wish to purchase this program?” query. I say Yes ... and off we go ... no problem. On the 2800 (otherwise identical ini file, etc.), I get the same Dish on Demand query, but the process stops me to do a phone line check (not so with the DP301). With the 2800 I briefly plugged a phone line in, did a successful “Test” from the Menu / Installation section, and then unplugged the phone line. Now all is well with the 2800 PPV purchases ... until the IRD is unplugged, and then you have to do the phone line test again. Is there anyway with the 2800 to circumvent the phone line test / PPV phone nag?

Another thing I noticed with the 2800 PPV ... there are TWO completely different pay nags. For most of the PPV stations I get the standard “Dish on Demand” query in the center of the screen. However, on several other PPV channels, when I select them, I get some screen flutter (as if Yvous is branching to a routine) and I get (now at the bottom ... not middle ... of the screen) a different query, simply “Do you want to purchase this ... Yes - Cancel - No” and when I select Yes ... off we go ... no problem (without having had to do the phone line spoofing). Insight / clarification would be appreciated ... Qrash

Try to use a bin that contains all the tiers (plenty of rom3 bin posted), and get rid of the tiers in the ini file. I have'nt tested yvous for a while. If you have so much misery with yvous then why don't you try cemu (dl the one around Feb 2nd, 2004 from dssftp). They all work the same way, just the ini file is different.
