Another DTV refugee

I have all of the equipment left over from D@#$. H loader and HU unlooper. Im in an apartment and my neighbor just put up a DN 500 dish out side. It looks like a dual lnb with just one lnb hooked up to it.

? 1 is , if i ask him, can i plug into the empty lnb fitting on his dish?

? 2 is, what is the absolute cheapest way to get started with DN if he lets me plug into his dish?

I know you guys are getting bombarded with all of the refugee questions but any help would be appreciated?

Do it yourself. You don't want your neighbor to know what your doing unless he's a pretty good friend.
