Got this by e mail the other day, it is a local place, they even give an address to come to get your card fixed, if it's true, then it looks like someone's making progress, but without seeing it firsthand I would have ro post this in the unsubstantiated/bs section.


DirecTV Programming for the P4/P5 Card is Now Available!

Right now, we have access to P4/P5 card programming!



We have access to the programming capabilities. Unfortunately, the cards are activation & there is a limit of 4 PPV Purchases. Once the 4 PPV’s have been purchased, there is no method of adding more PPV channels card at this time.



All the Premium Movie channels like HBO, Starz, Showtime, and all the channels in the 200s & 300s are on this program except for the networks which are the ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox, & PBS channels.



All the Adult (including Playboy) & the Premium Sport (Major League Baseball, NFL Sunday Ticket, NHL Center Ice) are considered to be PPV and must be purchased.



Please note, not all cards can be programmed at this time! To find out if your card may be able to be programmed, you must insert your P4/P5 card in your DirecTV receiver and go to any subscription channel (like HBO -501). There you will see one of 2 messages:

1 – You have inserted the wrong access card. Please insert the proper access card. Or

2 – To start service, Please call customer service, ext. 711.

If you are getting the wrong access card, your card can not be programmed at this time.

If you are getting the call ext. 711 message, your card should be able to get programmed, but this is not a guarantee.



We are not programming the cards ourselves. Just like the old unlooping days, someone has figured out how to do it & they are charging us to do it for our customers.



We are offering NO GUARANTEE or WARRANTY on this programming. You have to remember it is brand new and we are not sure what can happen. Your card may be looped or locked by DirecTV at any time. We are keeping track of the serial numbers of all cards programmed and the day they were programmed and we will do our best to reprogram these cards for FREE if anything should happen within the 60 day period.



This program has been tested by a trusted source for the last month. Theoretically, it should stay up for a long time because it is based on an actual subscription card.



You will need to bring us your card before 5pm on weeknights (or 4pm on Saturdays) & leave it with us.



Cost of programming each card is $150.

If your card is giving you the wrong access card message, you can trade in your card for a programmed card for $250.

If you do not have a card & need to purchase a programmed card, the cost is $450.00.





Please do not call us with questions regarding this service. A lot of time was spent in creating this letter. We do not have the capabilities to handle the volume of phone calls.

As an added BONUS, at this time, we will give you a $20.00 credit toward future programming for each person you refer to us. Each referral must bring in your serial number of your card (the 12 digit number starting with 00 on top of the bar code on the back side of the card). HORSE SHIT I think this is a scam or a TRAP LQQK for VIDEO camss filming or getting your pic so Dickhead Dave can drag your ass. I call it entrapment. Just my 2 cents worth. read what i copied and pasted below in the letter.

Not sure here but it seems as though a pretty healthy subscription could be bought for $75 a month, plus ONLY 2 PPVs per month.....
