Red LED on Loader question
Sorry about this guys, I posted this on another site, but not getting much response there. Thought I'd try here.
My fake t911 , does something wierd, or maybe it's Winex5.3. In extreme, when accessing my card, the red LED comes on. In Winex 5.3 it does not. It might flash every for a split second at the beginning of a write. My question is, is it an instruction that Winex sends to the loader that turns the Red LED on, or is it a function of the Loader knowing that it is currently accessing the card and therefor turns the red LED on. I really don't care if the LED come on or not, I'm just trying to figure out if something is amiss in my Hardware somewhere, or if it's something in the software from the other site Im using. I figure that software Guru mdeven would know if it's a softwqare thing or not??? valenti |

Red light district
Val, I never bothered to check mine. The 3m that we needed Win5.3 for is graveyard dead anyway. From what I saw earlier, the bin went 10 toes up as well. Seriously, Mark's the one to answer, but my hunch is it's their software... Chief

Can't boot
See, MWC, even your loader took a hike when it heard that it might have to test a new 3m from that bunch...
Go ahead, we'll let ya test, just don't fall in love.. Chief |

It has to do with the loader and the software both....
In ExtremeHU, the light should come on and stay lit while the bootstrap is loaded.... It may flash here and there while glitching.... WinExplorer is a "script engine".... It can't do anything on its own.... It's dependent on the script you're running.... Most WinExp scripts that I've seen are the opposite of Extreme.... The light will stay lit until the bootstrap is loaded.... I know there's a more technical explaination having to do with the LED being attached to a pin on the ATMEL and when the signal goes high.... But do you really want me to go into that, or would you rather have me tell you "relax and pour another one, it's just the normal noises in here"? Mark |
