Riding a Sporty myself. In the last four years spent almost 4000.00 and almost got it just the way I want it.

But that opinion changes everytime I get the new harley acc catalogue.

VMAX will dislocate both your sholders at high idle its the scariest non-drag bike hands down.

Excuse me just thinking about that ride makes me need to change my shorts.

I've owned two, just sold my last one. Before that, a Suzuki Hayabusa. And I thought the VMaxes were fast....
One of my cars is a 2001 Corvette Z06, chipped, and is capable of nearly 200 MPH.
You'd think this old bastard would grow up...

Nice Toy

Top Speed :
Claimed top speed is at least 200 MPH or about 321KPH for 1999 models.
Top speed is at least 189 MPH for late 2000 and 2001 models onwards.
Top Speed as measured by the Guiness Book of Records 2000 edition is 317KPH

james199, In 1986 I had the v65 saber. It was the fastest production bike in1984 through 1986. Thats one bike I really miss.

Keep forgeting about the second bike. Since it's all in pieces in the middle of a restoration. Just about to the final stage. Just need a couple more pieces. Trying to get it back to factory orginal. Fortuntely for me most of it was orginal and in good shape. I also replaced several of the jury rigged pieces while they were still available as replacement parts from Honda. Even have the orginal instruction book and the little tool kit that came with them.

It's a 1972 Honda CL350. And my favorite and my first street bike. Only one I kept actually. Bought it in 81 rode it regularly for 10 years. Then I started in on harley's. It's not fast (top speed of 87mph) and was far from flashy. But it's always been realiable.

Hey Biggen, my grandma might be interested in taking that thing off your hands since you cant handle it anymore. She needs something a little slower than her lawn mower to putt around with. LOL !

97 Heritage Softtail

Fuk growing up been riding since I was 16 & 50 now. You are so right about if you grow up U Die. I started out in the early 70s with a 650 BSA then a 650 Triumph bonnie then a sporster then a few customs always sold them and started on another one had the 97 softtail since it was new and this ole Bastard is keeping this one chromed out to the max . I took it to Sturgis in 2002, LOL too lazy to ride it out there or just too old but had a blast when I got there and did not see the motor home for 3 days. Damn good party them 3 days stayed 11 days any more would have killed me and the ole lady.
