I got told today by a professor in writing class" in college" that Aol and Msn Hotmail are not worth a sh*t and also Bill Gates ain't either and anything you send to any body through the two is being looked at by the world and your privacy is not private.
I can understand Bill Gates and Aol, from what I read here they are no good but my Msn hotmail too, I smell a hoax. I have been using Aol since the early ninetys and Msn hotmail since I came here and I don't believe we would be as far as we are and where we are at without Bill Gates. I know you guys can tell I have not had a good day, writing is not one of my best subjects I only make B's in it, if only teachers could make it fun like writing scripts for getting tv or something I could live with it. To be truthful, I wanted to take that writing cane of his he uses on his students and stick it up his arse but that would not be very nice, right? Opinions are welcome on this matter. His point was if you send a e-mail to to a friend it goes squirrelly and drops your e-mail to other people and your friend may or may not get the message until two days later.

I'm sure hotmail has fixed the vulnerability, but at one point how to break into hotmail was published in one of the big computer magazines. This was about 4 years ago I think. I got flamed for saying this once before, but you have no reasonable expectation of privacy on the net. Even if there are laws protecting your privacy, law inforcement does not have the technology or manpower to protect those rights. Even with email, you should assume its being monitored just to be safe.
