17 yr. old with liscense to drive stupid

K...since ya all are telling your stories though I might have another to add to list of "dumbass" stunts...
If ya havnt guessed by now I bang nails for a living. Been doing it since I was 14 years old. almost 20 years ago...when all my buds were out surfing and hangin out all summer I was at work with Pops...hated it then but its paying off now

anyhow I was working for Pops one summer and hating every minute of the hard labor..and looked foward to every minute I could get away from workin....I would have taken two 15 min breaks every half hour if I could get away with it but Pops was always crackin tha whip..the old guy is a workaholic...still out there hammering away..I use to look foward to the times when pops sent me out on a material run in his truck..He had a Kick-ass stereo in it at the time.. .plus I was just a young punk with a new drivers liscense..So Pops sends me to pick up a set of 2000.00 french doors..So im gone in tha truck , blasting tha Ozzy casette I just bought a few days before...
I pick tha doors up no prob....set them in bed of the chevy laying one end on the tailgate..Everything was fine on the way to the warehouse..but on the way back to the jobsite things werent so great. I was sitting at the stop light waiting to turn green so I can burn some rubber.....light turns green and I punch it...cool ...tires sqeuling I make my turn.....look back in the rearview mirror and see 2 french doors doin a twirl down the road......what am I gonna do now? so i throw them back in the truck, slowly drive to tha jobsite and unload them...all fubar ..thinkin tha painter can fix them? ..Pops sees them and flips out...I spent that whole goddamm summer workin to replace those doors......

I don't qualify, but my x's Grandpa sure did...and one day right after I got married at an early age, the old boy was nice enough to loan me his cherry 1965 Chevy 1/2 ton while my old heap was in the shop. Well, I still had some teenage knotheadedness in me ...and one thing I loved to do was to get some kind of a dumbass dog to start chasing me...in this case, chasing Grandpa's pickup...turn the key off for a few seconds, timing it perfect so the dog's head is right alongside the tailpipe, and turning the key back on...BOOM...backfire, right in the sumbitch's face. The result was enough to require at least one ambulance, to carry me to the ER from laughing so hard...

Didn't go off as planned, this time. Oh, I found a willing dog, alright, no problem. But I left the key on a little too long, the mixture must have been a little rich, and it kaboomed the muffler on that sucker in about 5 million pieces. I actually thought I was a victim of a terrorist attack..

Grandpa went to his grave never knowing the truth.."cheapass aftermarket parts" was his only comment

That craccccked me up !!

We used to do that as kids too ..
Especially at night when the driver couldn't see you slip your arm over and shut the key off .. It would instantly scare the shit outa them and we would laugh like hell and hope the muffler didn't blow off but it did every once in awhile ...
Just don't do it when your in a fire truck !! LOL

I luv it , just as good as burnin farts with a cig lighter ...

I think the cop saw the fear in my eyes and the felt bad for me cuz I was tellin him Pops was going to "light me up".that he didnt write me a ticket.....

Same dam cop gave me a ticketlater for doing 95 on a backroad 6 months later! The court yanked my liscense for 4 months

You know how hard it is to try and get chicks when your 17 and riding a 10 speed!DOH!! that later part of the year sucked big time!
