Bad News
those two blown caps are just a symptom of a bigger problem.Replacing them without fixing the problem will only cost you two more caps.Without the proper equipement,it will be hard to nail down.

Check to see if you have voltage comming from your Sat connection at the back of your IRD.Sounds like your voltage regulator to your LNB is fried and took out the two caps in the process.
Capacitor at C222 is a 35V100uf ,c208 should still be good,unless it is not making contact anymore. Who knows,you might get lucky. OHM Last edited by OneHwyMan; 08-07-2003 at 02:11 AM.. |
