lube for vinyl gears

Are you supposed to put any kind of lubrication on PVC gears? Is so, what do you use?

In my service centre, we use white lithium grease in most printer gears. it reduces friction and save me a killing

Jukebox mechs use the spray white lithium grease as per manufaturer recommendations, I know thats not automotive, But thought I'd pass it along anyway.

Well, it's not actually an automotive question, but I thought this forum was about as close as there was for this question. It seems like everyone is pretty much in agreement that you use the lithium grease. Thanks for your help guys. So this is probably something I can pick up at Schucks or NAPA or any other general automotive store right?
