Current software is version; 680PCBPD-N

Any help would be appreciated, Thanks icthings
Well are you sure youre running on Bev as ther current s/w for Bev is E357?
Erase at SA5 then stream ird and you'll have ther current s/w...or....Menu 6,1,5.Download without my permission and switch ird off via remote only...wait 5-30 mins switch back on..s/w updated...I don't really know where youre going with this question as I would help you more...?

I lost channels late last year and have not been able to get them back. ( lost the porn and movie channels) My understanding is that it is because my software is outdated. Since last August I haven't had an upgrade.

I am running BEV for sure. I thought if I could load a 'fresh' software update it might help.

If I can supply more information to help this along I would be most eager to do so.

Thank you, icthings
Find the appropriate s/w(updated version)edit, save, erase tsop in jkeys and write edited version back..this will update ird to current.

I have never installed any kind of a lock on this unit. Would this be a 'factory' installed thing?

Darnat, thank you very much. I will give this the 'ole college try! Most greatful.

icthings
No a dlock is a device that is added to ird to prevent writes to the tsop!
Good Luck!

Something is not kosher here. It's a model 3700 but has 2700 software on it? What does the sys info screen report about what model it is?

If it actually is a 2700 instead of a 3700 you will have to put 2700 firmware on it.

If it was orginally a 3700 you will need either 2800 or 3700 firmware. Those two are interchangable.

It sounds like someone put 2700 firmware on it. Which may have worked fine until a upgrade came out. But will never update much like 3900's converted to bev with 2700 firmware won't update.

The reason you were loosing channels on Bev is because you can no longer run DN firmware and get Bev channels. You have to have the latest Bev firmware to receive Bev channels.
