The Chinese have reportedly got the soution...! They have created a devise that decripts the N2 stream back into the N1 stream ....think about that...! just taking out the parts of the stream that make it hard to decode...!a filter...ya that's it. I believe I have posted this in the rite place......

![]() See, there aren't any N1 keys left in stream. So if you filtered out all the N2 information from it what you would have left is.... nothing. No decryption keys at all! It's kind of like if you biult a filter that removed everything but gasoline from beer, and then you could use the gasoline you got out of it to run your car!!!!! Only wait.... there isn't any gasoline in beer. Oh yeah. So, no, you couldn't run your car on it. Last edited by gunther; 04-30-2005 at 01:20 AM.. |

There is alcohol in beer however very little in the good ol US of A but you can run your vehicle on alcohol though your engine may suffer if it's use to gas...hehehehahha.

If you had the knowledge to generate the correct keys you wouldn't need the CAM in the first place. That's what the CAM does. That's what the MC1, MC2, emulation, and atmega boards do. They continually present the new decrypt keys to the IRD every few seconds so that it can uncrypt the next chuck of porn you are trying to watch.
What most people don't seem to understand is that a new key is required every few seconds, and that the calculations required to generate that key is requires quite a few pieces of information to generate a valid decrypt key. The box keys, the E-DES keys, and a continously updated seed value that is unique to each block of video coming down. That, and knowlede of how the encryption algorythm works. For N1 we know all that information. For N2 we don't, and until we get to get inside the card and explore around inside it's code space we wont. |

Cool man, thanx for the info, I know there's a lot more to it and I was real good at staying up with mega and plastic over the year's.This is going to be a whole new "Game" Like I allway's said "it got to easy" I remember when It was not real easy and you actually had to figure thing's out ...Then there came all these progies that did everything for you...This I believe was the begining of the downfall for testing.Hopefully It will take some effort and a solution will be found that's not "Too easy" but just enough to keep the old testers still with the hobby that they enjoy. All the best.
