Sodomy laws prevail in most all states in the U.S., and it is considered to be pornographic even between heterosexual relationships. Although many thousands of individuals practice this act anyway, they are at risk for prosecution if caught in the act of sodomy.

Section 1. G.S. 14-177 reads as rewritten:

"§ 14-177. Crime against nature.
(a) If any person shall commit the crime against nature, with mankind or beast, he shall be punished as a Class I felon.
(b) This section shall not apply if the act occurs between consenting adults in privacy and is not for hire."

Section 2. This act is effective when it becomes law.

It is not illegal most places any more.

While some of you may live in one of the few places where it is illegal, most people do not.

The objection is to Sodomy in any form, homosexual or heterosexual relationships.
