The incription is not the same as it is her in Canada or States. Europes N2 shares some of the same info but not all the same. And yes they are up and running with there new incripton. As of here time will tell.

Of course the Nagra 2 will be hacked. It's a matter of too much money too be made and the cat and mouse game providers and hackers have been playing for a very long time. It will be a private thing for awhile. Then as usual, it will go public. From there it is a you turn it off, we turn it back on thing....

Same things were said about P4/P5 hack.Guess what? Didn't happen. Sure,there's big bucks to be had,but whoever has the talent to do it probably doesn't have the initial big bucks to lay out.

Is incription anything like encryption? I hope your not claiming that the N2 is hacked in Europe. If it is, they sure are managing to keep their secrets underground.
I'm pretty darn sure no version of the N2 has been completely compromised.

you guys should read the news a little more than saying something hacks ,about two weeks ago a man was arested in spain (they changed the law there thats wy you don't see any info one those website) with a lot of open card for premiere.so its hacked!

You guy's are newbies too me. I've been in this game for over 20 years. Im sure there are some pretty smart people on this forum. It isnt just a matter of money. It's a matter of cat and mouse. The VideoCipher 2 took a very long time too be hacked, it was seen as impossible to hack, but it was hacked successfully. This is going back to the big dish days. I have seen it all. The BS and the truth. I am the guy who built the sattech server.. A few will know what that site was about. It was the biggest and the definitive site for this hobby. So big the providers got the courts too shut it down. I know the people that will bust the Nagra 2 and other cards. It was I who was asked too beta test the AVR when they came out. It was I, who recomended that they go too a two chip system on them. For these guy's it's the challenge of figuring out how too get the technology up and running, then keeping it up and running. It dont see this challenge as anything different other than it's a new technology. Just because you get turned off, dont groan and moan, poor poor me.....
A fix will come along. Your not paying for the actual service most people pay for.... The cost of it being free, is being turned off every now and then. If you want too never be turned off, subscribe, pay the bill. Dont come on here 35 seconds after you have been turned off looking for a fix. If it is a simple key change, they will be available shortly after they do change. I have seen a few post's on here, "first with the news, no new keys" What type of news is that?? Lean back and mow the lawn, have a beer, whatever.... Watching T.V. shouldnt be the be all, end all of your life. Patience is a virtue......

sattech was the real deal, dude (stout1) if you're for real, i thank you for what you provided. only took 5min to do my daily recon; now it takes hours, and i have little faith in any new postings. at sattech within a minute i could determine if anything new was happening. infact sattech is still in my favorites list.

unfortunately, considering, what we're faced with today, sattech would be very quite, but we would know.

Jack Nocera owned sattech. I had been going there for a while. I got too now all of the mod's and Jack. He was looking for a server to use for sattech. Since I was able to get the parts wholesale. he gave me the go ahead to build it. Then after a while he wanted the server co-located. I knew of a good co-location with excellent tech. support. So it was co-located in Ottawa, Ont. Canada. Then due to some legal issues the server was sent over too Asia. Jack lives in Arizona. He was going throug some good and bad times. His sister was dying of cancer in Buffalo N.Y. The good stuff was he was going to get married. Then the raid on his personal residence took place. All his equipment was taken away to be used as evidence against him. Then communication just sort of stopped totally or at best was very sporadic. Then the site was gone, then the chat part of it was a free for all, then it too disappeared. This site is now the premier site for hobby, in my opinion. So ask questions, get the latest keys, wait for the fix. Just dont come on here and start moaning and groaning. It isnt pretty too watch... It's a hobby, for some a living... But it is still a hobby. Being turned off is part of the hobby. Dont like that part, find another hobby. This one isnt for you..... Dont forget too say thanks to the one's who get the files out, put the time in.. Without them, there is no hobby..... So to the ones kepping this hobby up and runiing...

It's too bad the folks at sattech didn't take the initative and physically move offshore like Mili did. If server and proprieter are outside the US and Canada, there is basically no way to shut a sight down. I'm sure there are some restrictive regs in Europe too, but I have no idea what they are.

First there is the hack, then is the manufacture of the hardware before goes out to the market. Well this is done so no one can put the hardware out before the real people that spend their money and precious time on the hack..... In other words the hack should be out with the gadgets, it like the pharmaceutical before they go into generic version they alredy manufacture their generic version way before the patten it is over and they have a step ahead. So don't think that this hack it is simple, cause will not be a waist of time for nothing without need of a new hardware to get their money worst. So don't worry there is a hack out there and it should be out before christmas. Get my drift, the time you have money on your pocket to spend. AAAAAAnd then the chinese will hit the market.
