Another emu for Nagra2,,
There is another emu for Nagra2 in NA. It is S2emu1.171. It uses a softcam for the keys like we are used to using. It offers faster channel changes and less freezing of the channels. Still don't have B3v keys, so it only works for D*sh.
I uploaded the emu and a working softcam to the files section here at Mili's. I guess as soon as the powers that be approve the files, they should be available for download.. And, before someone asks, no porn with this emu either... Happy testing!!! |

I have my old directtv emu hardware. What I need to know is does this EMU you're talking about require a card to be placed in a programmer? If so, what card is needed? All I have is a ROM 10 card and a magic card.

This emu is for use with a PCI DVB card. I just placed the emu and the softcam into my Plugins folder of DvbDream.
Sorry for any confusion, I know that emu's are used with IRD's, but this is for the DVB cards only. |

It will not work for the setup you have. Might see something similar later but not using the equipment that worked for DTV. You would need different hardware from the stuff used for DTV. I know it's confusing. EMU is generic for any system that emulates a card without a actual card. This specfic EMU is for DVB computer sat receivers only. Where the EMU and receiver are one unit installed in the computer. Not to be confused with computer EMU systems that use a computer to emulate the card. And a DN sat receivers to tune and supply the tv. t160hq
